They earned two stars because it was very affordable ($6 a person with shoes on Thursday), and the woman at the front desk was very polite, but the cons kept it from being higher.
Loved it.. great please for the kids as well.. food was great and the beer was even better..
The pin setter on our machine got jammed and it took nearly 10 minutes for them to fix it, there is no reset button to push yourself like other alleys.
Horrible experience. Staff was rude and talked back. I would never recommend this place to anybody. And they're food is disgusting.
The cons: unlike every other bowling alley I have ever been to, you have to get a heavier ball to get larger finger holes in the ball. Some of us have larger hands but don't want to use a 14 pound ball.
This place is great for leisure bowlers. No crowding out by leagues like Cypress Lanes. Nice atmosphere and staff. Way nicer then Cypress Lanes in Winter Haven mean people ...Love First Frame Bowling.
The credit card machine at the snack bar was broken, and they wouldn't ring it up at the front counter instead. The atm they have charges $2.75 plus bank fees, making $7.50 pitcher of soda over $10, maybe $11.
I miss the old management from a few years ago.
I give it a one on the fact that when I was last there maybe a year ago or so, the whole time I was trying ro bowl with my father the lanes and pins items where getting f***ed up and took forever to do one game. We eventually left cause of how it was, the staff had been no help to the matter of it. I miss how it was years ago at lest back then the lanes and staff was better and it was actually fun. Wish things where better, I know this sounds harsh but it is true.
