All in all, Home Depots store manager is making damage protection as though it doesn’t cover anything and that I’m responsible for every detail. If this is the case I strongly suggest not to rent any machinery from them and go to a reputable place like sunbelt or united rental. All Home Depot is doing is pocketing your money and not giving you the coverage that they state. Which is grounds for misrepresentation of insurance and theft. If I had the option to rate my experience in the negative, I would but I have no choice but to give to them one star. Even when you ask to make sure you’re covered, they say no but the paperwork says yes. Make sure to keep the contract in a safe place because the manager tried to take my only copy!! Currently this is an ongoing matter and I will update this review, Thank you for reading my experience.

Store is easily visible from US 27 North Bound. Parking lot is easy to get in and out of. Store was nice and clean and easy to navigate. All of the staff I spoke with were polite and friendly. Very knowledgeable about products.
The usual Home Depot store, located off SR 27 and Peddlers pond rd. In Lake Wales Fl. Parking is good with truck rental available.
BUYER AND RENTER BEWARE!!! My experience at the Lake Wales homedepot use to be great until I rented a broken bucket lift and they tried to stick me with a $12,000 repair bill!!!! I rented a lift right after hurricane Irma to cut down some trees around my business down south, but the lift wouldn’t self level. So I leveled It manually and almost got killed!! Went to return lift and was treated like an uneducated bum. It was like a scene from a movie. Some crack pot inspector from the rental place condemned the machine and accused me of abusing the thing. The tool rental employee lied about seeing prior damages to cover his ass. Everyones tune changed when I showed them pictures of the damages The day I rented it. What made things even worse was that the store manager Kelly disregarded the legal fact I purchased damage protection and tried to coerce me into making a false claim about the prior damages! They told me damage protection covers broken hoses, malfunction of the machine, pretty much poor maintenance on their part. When clearly on paragraph 10 of the contract I have states otherwise. But all this shouldn’t pertain to me, I rented the machine with prior physical damage!
