I think that this office does exactly what it needs to do and is Very Helpful! They have helped me many many times.
Everyone here is pleasant and very nice to deal with.
If I could give it a zero I would. Tracked my package to a few neighborhoods away from my residence last place it was scanned wasn't even by my street. I called the post office to find out where it was and was told the mail person either delivered to the wrong house or kept the package. I then asked what they were going to do about it and they told me nothing. They said to see if the company could just send me another package. I already paid for this package it's not their fault it's yours I told them. They said yes we see it wasn't scanned at your address it was several blocks away, told me to call back later and see if they know anything else. Called back 6 hours later and was told no nothing they can do. I spoke to the postmaster he said he would call me back the next day. Next day came and went I called back was told nothing I can do he would call me. Its been 5 days and no call.
The Lake Wales Post Office had always gone out of their way to help. I'm very pleased with their service!
I have yet to visit the place, but I tried calling and the phone rang for a solid 3 minutes straight before i heard an employee pick up and then hang the phone up on me, never saying a word. It was then busy for several minutes before an employee finally answered my call with a very unenthused voice. Had zero vocal skills, attitude in her voice and no concern in puttin in effort to answer ny questions, but more so the desire to end the phone call post haste. Guess she had something better to do than be a respectable, tactful employee. Oh well.
*The gentleman complaining about delivered packages etc... I don't know what his problem is but my mailman is awesome! He is personable, friendly, professional and helpful as well, this PO is doing a GREAT JOB stop complaining about things they can't control.
Packages can be damaged at anytime in the delivery process why assume that this Lake Wales PO damaged them? I have never had that problem! Ever and I order a lot of stuff! A lot!
Since when can we not hold packages to pick up anymore?
The people that work at this facility do not make the rules for the hours the government does.
*Even though there are no Saturday hours for stamps, I can buy stamps at Wal-Mart* I don't understand why people complain about this PO being closed on Saturday? It's a small town, what do you expect?
